Confirming the bond between Oxford University SAID Business School and KUS another team of 60 elite EMBA students and lecturers, led by Professor Eric Thun, visited KUS HQ on 4th December for an exciting, high-pressure and enjoyable day of vigorous business analysis, investigation and debate.
The EMBA students, coming from more than 40 different countries, and representing the global business leaders of tomorrow, are challenged to understand, interrogate and recommend enhancements to the company’s global and technological development.
The four challenges for the focused Oxford teams are to assess KUS’s innovation and technology leaps, to confirm the importance of culture in driving positive change, to ensure as KUS continues to grow the managers can balance and focus everyone, and vitally that global customers are convinced of the changes made on their behalf.
KUS managers at all levels receive the benefit of having their current and future plans debated and tested by focused teams of business leaders from other industries, whilst the business leaders gain an insight into the world of dynamic and technological change currently sweeping the global vehicle industry, and experience KUS riding the technological wave of change.
After eight intensive hours of cut and thrust challenge and debate the four elite Oxford teams have their chance to pitch improvements and suggestions to an audience of more than 100 KUS managers. Anything goes, but challenging is mandated.
The objectives? To ensure KUS remains focused on its customers’ and that the Oxford managers of tomorrow learn a little more about dynamic change, and to have some fun along the way.
